Summer Internships
We’re excited to offer summer internship opportunities in urban planning and landscape architecture in our Austin, TX, Minneapolis, MN, and Richmond, VA offices for students who are curious, collaborative, and motivated by community-centered work. Interns at Mend gain hands-on experience supporting real projects while learning from a small, mission-driven team shaping meaningful places across the nation.
Our Philosophy
Mend Collaborative was founded with the goal of creating a collaborative, supportive work environment for those who have been historically excluded from participation in or have had challenge in succeeding in the design professions, including women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, members of immigrant communities, and those from working class backgrounds. This leads to better design.
We believe our work is made stronger by the diversity of perspectives and experiences of our team and prioritize working with clients and partners who share those values. We also seek to prioritize Women and Minority Owned Businesses as partners as often as possible.
We support mentorship in our firm and field, active participation in our communities, and uplifting diverse voices.
