C Terrence is a Senior Planner for Mend Collaborative where he works on interdisciplinary projects that seek to address displacement, disparities, and facilitates better connections between community and government. He is also the owner of Bichota Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster with a coffee shop located in George Floyd Square in South Minneapolis.
C Terrence is the former Director of Community Based Research at the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) at the University of Minnesota, where C. Terrence oversaw community-based research and grant making programs. He was also the former Equity Manager at the Metropolitan Council in the Twin Cities region where C. Terrence implemented equity as part of the work that the Council does to address the high racial disparities in the region. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with degrees in Urban Affairs and in Philosophy.
