Pace Bend Park Vision Plan

Mend Collaborative completed the Pace Bend Park Vision Plan on behalf of the Travis County Parks Department, guiding a multidisciplinary team to establish a long-term vision for one of the County’s most beloved and ecologically significant parks. Mend’s work balances the protection ofsensitive natural resources with the need to improve visitor access, recreation opportunities, and operational efficiency. Through close collaboration with County staff, stakeholders, and the public, the team developed a framework that prioritizes habitat conservation, infrastructure, and equitable access for diverse users. The resulting plan outlined clear recommendations for phased improvements that enhance the park’s identity as a destination for nature-based recreation within the Travis County system.
